An APC chieftain in Zamfara Sani Abdullahi Wamban Shinkafi has declared that there is no court order that restrained Zamfara APC from conducting ward congress in Zamfara State.
Shinkafi who declared this during a press Conference in Zamfara on Saturday insisted that to the best of his knowledge APC is one and there is no any faction that exist within the party.
He said the congress would go on as scheduled and there is no cause for alarm.
“You have seen the turn-out and that is to show you that APC under the leadership of His excellency Dr. Bello Matawallen Maradun is firmly on the ground”.
“I am telling you to be rest assured that there is no any faction that exist around Zamfara state APC, and I am telling you we are going on with the local governments and state congresses, and I am telling you the total outcome you are seeing now by 2023 it will be a work over.
On the alleged factional congress by the Senator Marafa group, Shinkafi said the purported faction claimed by Marafa has already being swallowed by the Abdulazeez Yari group.
“As per as we are concern the Marafa faction is nowhere to be found because since February, this year they have seized to exist. All their structure had been collapsed under the faction of Lawal M. Liman”.
“Lawal M. Liman has already made a pronouncement that they are not going to participate in the congresses because they are no more in charge” Wamban Shinkafi added
