“We have (57) pending cases in court. We are going to survive it it’s politics”.
When asked if it is healthy for a government to be battling (57) cases in court he said
“we know those who are behind all these cases. They are all cases filed as a result of defection. Political cases”.
“Well they are making reference to this case Abj/650/2021. There are cases that were filled about (32) by Eng. Yakubu Maru a former house of assembly member. Instead of him to file a single case challenging the defection of the Governor, the senators, the house of reps and stats house of assembly he decided to separate it about (32). Is this not frustrating but we knew he was not doing it alone there is somebody behind it and God will fish him out”.
“We have filed our documents in fact I am even prosecuting that case personally”.
“This government was brought in by court order, by court judgement and therefore we have to answer calls of court. We are not the ones who initiated the court cases. Our party was sued and we have to go and defend it what do we do??”.
