Former civilian Governor of Zamfara State Sen. Ahmad Sani Yariman Bakura has assured that any APC member who has failed to participate in the ongoing revalidation of the APC membership card in Zamfara may lose the chances of contesting any post in 2023.
Sen. Yarima who spoke exclusively to thunder Blowers multimedia services shortly after the revalidation of his APC membership card in his Bakura country home said the exercise was directed by the National headquarters of the party.
Yarima said, the exercise has targeted over a million party supporters who may be registered and therefore called on all and sundry to participate in the exercise.
He described as insensitive for anyone to ask APC supporters in Zamfara not to participate in the exercise, noting that the President and indeed members of the national working committee of the APC have already endorsed the exercise.
On the current crises rocking the APC in Zamfara Yarima said, he is optimistic the crises would be overcome as he and Governor are taking appropriate steps to unite party members in Zamfara State.
