Seven abductees from Ruwan Doruwa Community in Zamfara State who were abducted three months back have died of hunger starvation in the hand of their abductors.
A source who spoke to this medium said, the abductees died due to serious hunger that ravaged them.
The source said, fourteen women who were abducted alongside the victims were released after payment of N4 million ransom.
He said the women are currently on admission at Yariman Bakua Specialists Hospital receiving medical attention.
It could be recalled that some suspected bandits invaded Ruwan Doruwa village three months back and abducted scores of people, including the seven people, abducted and the fourteen women who were released.
Zamfara police Spokesperson SP Shehu Muhammad could not be reached for comment as at the time of filing this report.
