Zamfara state Governor Bello Matawalle has declared that despite the economic hardship faced by the state, it has distributed rams and bulls of cow to various category of people for them to enjoy their Sallah celebration with relative ease.
The Governors who stated this in a special Sallah broadcast to the people of Zamfara State on Saturday said, his administration is greatly concern about doing things that would ensure the welfare and wellbeing of the citizens.
He urged the Muslims to take advantage of the Id-El Kabir celebration in praying for sustainable peace and development of the state.
He also urged the people of Zamfara to learn from the lessons of the Sallah celebration by being obedient to the commandment of Allah as a way of getting self out of the wrongdoings.
The Governor also thanked almighty God for making it possible for the state pilgrims to be able to attend to this year’s pilgrimage to the holy land as a result of recovery from the Coronavirus Pandemic worldwide.
He used the opportunity to call on the state pilgrims to continue to extend their prayers for sustainable peace and development of the state and Nigeria by extension.
He also recalled that as part of the concern the government of Zamfara has for ending this problem of insecurity, it has taken new measures of setting up four different committees which are going to work toward providing lasting solutions to the insecurity ravaging the state.
