A chieftain of the APC in Zamfara State Sani Abdullahi Wamban Shinkafi has called on Governor Nasiru Elrufai of Kaduna state to stay away from Zamfara politics.
Wamban Shinkafi who handed down the warning during a media briefing in Gusau on Thursday reminded Governor Elrufai that he is neither a National Chairman nor, Deputy or Zonal Vice Chairman of the APC and not holding the brief for President Muhammadu Buhari and therefore urged him to stay away from Zamfara politics.
“I have a personal respect for you and Governor of Zamfara also has respect for you, so please respect yourself and stay away from Zamfara politics reminding him that as someone who is a product of Harvard University who also read courses on strategic studies you should not step yourself down to be mingling with disgruntled politicians who do not mean well for Zamfara people”.
“You have never visited Zamfara when people are being killed for the past eight or ten years but now because former Governor of Zamfara is your friend you want to take advantage of that to give him cover and cause breach of peace in Zamfara and that is not good for your reputation”.
When you are fighting with Shehu Sani and Sulaiman Hunkuyi nobody from Zamfara intervened, and you are crossing all the way from Kaduna to align with these enemies of APC in Zamfara state.
We have given you a daughter in marriage, you are our in law, so please stay away from Zamfara politics “mutunchi madarane”.
