UPDATE ON ZAMFARA ARMED BANDITS ATTACK, COMMUNITY REPORTS KILLING OF (4) AND ABDUCTION OF (44) PERSON
As at 4:00pm of Monday, residents of Gora Namaye in Maradun area of Zamfara State reported that they have counted (44) people to be missing to the abductors, even as they confirmed the killing of four people.
A source who confided to this medium said, the funeral of the four persons killed by the abductors was conducted after Zuhr prayers.
He also said four people have been badly wounded, and they are currently receiving treatment.
He said the majority of the residents of Gora town remains in the town despite threatening fear caused by the armed bandits attack while security personals keeps vigil of the area to build the confidence of the people.
It could be recalled that in the late hours of Sunday, suspected bandits armed with deadly weapon invaded Gora Namaye town in Maradun local government area of Zamfara State and conducted their operation for over two and a half hours.
The attack came the same hour when another community of Matusgi cam under armed bandit attack resulting to the killing of four people and abduction of nine others person.
