One of the three informants arrested in connection with Dansadau crises of insecurity had set himself ablaze after he was arrested by the security agencies.
A lawmaker representing Maru South Kabiru Hashimu Dansadau declared this when he featured in Thunder Blowers online TV show Dawache Kazo in Gusau on Tuesday.
He said, base on the reliable information they have gathered, the informant who is a close ally of the suspended Emir of Dansadau decided to set himself on fire to avoid releasing information that may be injurious to the Emir.
He further said, the two suspects had already identified over thirty other informants who are directly involved in aiding armed bandits activities and are currently being tracked by the security operatives.
He said the crises along Dansadau area had worsened because of the activities of the informants who are known among many residents.
Speaking about the current security situation in the area, the lawmaker said, Dansadau area is still not accessible because of the unending attacks launched by the armed bandits.
He further declared that the bandits had already sent messages that unless the Emir is released from the security agencies, there would be no peace in Dansadau emirate.
But he assured that state government led by Bello Matawalle is making concerted effort to make sure that peace has been restored in Dansadau area and its environs.
