Zamfara state Deputy Governor Hassan Muhammad Nasiha has chaired a state security meeting on Saturday.
The meeting is organized to avail the Deputy Governor with the opportunity of knowing the security chiefs and also understand their challenges and constraints.
This may be his first official function after the weekly preaching session he attended since his inauguration as the new Deputy Governor.
The security meeting which features deliberation on critical issues bordering on the security and safety of Zamfara people was attended by all heads of security agencies and was done on the instructions of the Governor.
He assured that he will do best and work with all heads of security agencies with a view to making sure that relative peace has been restored in the state.
In a related development, the new Deputy Governor granted audience to Zamfara State Forum of District Heads led by Magajin Sabon Garin Gusau.
They expressed confidence on the ability of the Deputy Governor and promised to support him to succeed.
Sen. Nasiha thanked them for the visit and assured them that the current government of Bello Matawalle is doing it’s best to transform the lives of the people of the state.
