A federal lawmaker representing Anka and Talatar Mafara federal constituency, Kabiru Yahaya (Classic) has urged Nigerians to be more alive and rescue the country from the maladministration of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Yahaya who doubled as the second leading figure in the Zamfara PDP stated this in a congratulatory message to the newly elected state executives of the people’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
In a statement signed by the Press Secretary to the lawmaker Misbahu Aliyu Mafara said, the lawmaker while being optimistic that Nigeria will survive all the socio-economic crises faced by its citizens, he insisted that PDP will eventually take over mantle of leadership in both the center and in states like Zamfara.
He said, PDP is already preparing to do the right thing and has already strategised to face the challenges of rescuing the country.
“The 2021 PDP National Convention that produced the new leadership of National Working Committee (NWC) of the party, deservedly headed by a distinguished personality, Dr Iyorchia Ayu and his other NWC member is a pointer that the party is ready for the new task ahead.
“For us in Zamfara, we are ready to join hands and work with the new NWC for victory in the 2023 presidential election, which will be the litmus test of the rescue mission.
The federal lawmaker expressed confidence that Zamfara people are trustworthy and would only vote for the people of credible record, which are majority in the PDP.
“We should unite more formidably to save our people, ward by ward; local government by local government; state by state, and to eventually save Nigeria. We should not fail to return power to the people of Zamfara in 2023 and to Nigeria in 2023”.
