ZAMFARA FMR. LAWMAKER JAJI CHARGES APC LEADERS TO WIDEN CONSULTATION WITH AGGRIEVED PARTY MEMBERS.

Former House of Representatives member and APC chieftain, Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji has called on the leadership of the All Progressive Congress in Zamfara led by Tukur Umar Danfulani to consolidate on the gains of the party by bringing together the aggrieved members to ensure unity of purpose within the party.

The APC Stalwart gave the charge when the state Chairman, Tukur Umar Danfulani led other members of his state executive committee for a solidarity visit to the politician in his Abuja residence.

He said both new and old members should be given equal opportunity so that they will feel a sense of belonging, as that would boost the chances of the party ahead of the 2023 election.

While congratulating the state Chairman for receiving his certificate of return at the national headquarters of the party urged the executive members to give emphasis to the welfare and wellbeing of the party.

He assured that he will continue to give all the required support to the leadership of the party to strengthen the chances of the APC in Zamfara.

In his remarks, the state Chairman of the party Alh Tukur Danfulani said the purpose of his visit was to take advantage of their inauguration to visit prominent party leaders and thanked them for their support.

Danfulani who pleaded with the APC chieftain not to relent in supporting and guiding the party on the right course, assured him of making wider consultations with all those that matters.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
