Governor Bello Matawalle has directed that henceforth no more sales of petroleum substance by any filing stations in Zamfara except those within Gusau the state capital.
The Governor who handed down the directive at a reception to formally received the freed students College of Agriculture and Animal Science Bakura o Friday said, the enforcement of the measures become necessary considering the rising insecurity hitting the state.
He assured any filing that goes against the new directive would be death with noting that the government may not relent in seizing the filing station and enforcing heavy fine on the owner.
He also said the order include banning the sales of petroleum substance in Jerrican noting that anyone arrested would be force to face the music.
He expressed concern over the rising insecurity in the state, noting his administration has done all it can to make sure that peace has been restored.
He asked security agencies to be more alive in enforcing the new directive, as his administration would put a watch on their conduct and operations.
