A medical practitioner in Zamfara state Dr. Jelani Muhammad Yankuzo has reported via his personal Facebook page that he has narrowly escaped armed bandit brutality after one of the gang operating along Tsafe-Yankuzo axis of the road attacked them.
The medical practitioner who was returning home for the usual visitation said, “I have to travelled home for condolence. Unfortunately for me, I encountered a heavily armed bandits along Tsafe -Yankuzo road (my first experience to have one-on-one encounter with armed bandits”.
He said, the armed bandits stopped them on the bike and collected all the money he has in his possession before instructing them to proceed with their trip.
He concluded his outcry by saying, “Alhamdulillah for everything, but banditry is still on in our villages”.
