Newly appointed Commissioner for Health Aliyu Abubakar Tsafe (MC) has assumed office on Wednesday.
The politician was accompanied by hundreds of family members, friends, and well-wishers, including political associates to the ministry.
He was received by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Dr. Habibu Yelwa, directors and all staff of the ministries.
The commissioner who thanked the Governor for deploying him to the state ministry for health assured that he would work harder to probe the confidence reposed in him and also initiated ideas that would lead to the transformation of the health sector in the state.
He also assured that, he will do everything possible to fight for the right of all the staff in the ministry and ensure their well-being .
