ZAMFARA NUJ FELICITATE WITH NIGERIANS OVER RELEASE OF ABDUCTED JANGEBE SCHOOL GIRLS
Nigeria Union of Journalists has felicitate with the Nigerians and indeed good people of Zamfara State over the recent released of the Jangebe abducted school girls.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Acting Chairman of the union Malam Bello Boko which was issued to journalists on Tuesday in Gusau the capital city of Zamfara
.
“It is with a relieved heart that the Zamfara state Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Zamfara state Council wishes to felicitate with Nigerians especially the Zamfara Government and parents of the abducted 279 GGSS, Jangebe, school girls inTalata-Mafara LGA of the state over Tuesday, 2/3/2021 release of the victims” the statement added.
Boko further said, “this, no doubt followed the unweavering effort and peace and reconcilation initiative of His Excellency, Gov. Bello Mohammed MON Matawallen Maradun and the security agents”.
“We pray that as promised by President Muhammadu Buhari this incident will not show its ugly face in any part of Nigeria again”.
The union implores the state and federal govrrnment to continue to fortify all public places especially schools in order to increase the confidence of Nigerians.
Acting Chairman said, parents, community leaders and members of the public should also continue to pray for peace and an end to all forms of insurgency while remaining vigilant against all suspicious movements.
