Zamfara State Chairman of All Progressive Congress Lawal M. Liman Kaura has described the Thursday judgement of the Sokoto division of the Court of Appeal as clear demonstration of how maturing Nigerian judicial system is growing.
He said as bonafide members of the APC who laboured hard for the emergence and survival of the party hold the believe that “justice can only be delayed but it cannot be denied”.
He said he and all members of the party have received the judgment in good spirit and the verdic of the appellate court on Thursday has boosted their morale and vow to continue to work harder for the development of the APC as a party in Zamfara.
He commended the Mai Mala Buni led caretaker committee for its resolve in uniting the party members and pledged to continue to build from that spirit in making APC much more stronger in Zamfara State.
He commended the APC supporters in the state for their patience and endurance saying the Thursday judgement has now laid to rest all the fear some weak minded party supporters have and called on all and sundry to continue to remain united for the progress and development of the party.
It could be recall that, on Thursday the Sokoto Division of the Court of Appeal in a judgement delivered by Justice Fedrick Oho on behalf of other justices allowed the appeal filed by Lawal M. Liman led State Working Committee challenging the judgement of Zamfara State High Court which nullified their elections as Chief Executives of the APC in the state.
