The elected Vice Chairman for Zurmi local government Hon. Bala Arzika Kanwa died in the early hours of today, Wednesday the 1st day of January 2025.
According to a source, he died of a ghastly motor accident while on his way to Gusau the capital city of Zamfara State.
His funeral prayer was attended by hundreds of Muslims faithful including the state Deputy Governor Malam Mani Malam Mumuni, Speaker of Zamfara State House of Assembly Bilyaminu Moriki and other top politicians in the state.
Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara in a condolence message sent via his verified Facebook page described the death of late Bala Arzika Kanwa as a great loss to the people of the state.
He prayed for God almighty to grant him Jannatul Firdausi.
