ZANNAN BUNGUDU HAILS SEN. MARAFA FOR DRAGGING MATAWALLE FACTION OF THE APC TO COURT, HOPE FOR VICTORY IN THE AWAITED FHC RULING
A former federal lawmaker from Zamfara and Chieftain of All Progressive Congress Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannan Bungudu has commended the courage of Sen. Kabiru Garba Marafa for dragging the Matawalle faction of the APC to court over the conduct of the APC congress in Zamfara
Zannan Bungudu who spoke to the Managing Editor of this medium on Sunday said, with the recent victory of Shekaru led faction of the APC in Kano and with the development in APC Bauchi the suit filed by Sen Marafa would surely lead to the nullification of all the Congresses conducted by the Matawalle faction of the APC.
He said he has confidence in the Nigerian judicial system and with the prayers by thousands of Yari and Marafa supporters and well-wishers, the suit filed by Lawal M. liman at the first instance and the recent one filed by Marafa against Matawalle and his faction of the APC, supporters of Zamfara APC under Matawalle would be thought the appropriate lesson by getting their congress nullified.
“Though the Governor promised to issue car loan to judiciary staff and for long he has failed to fulfilled that pledge but with the recent filing of the suite by Sen. Marafa, it would be an opportunity for them to get the Governor fulfilled the promises because his attention would be back to them 100%” Zanna added.
He called on the supporters of Yari and Marafa to remain prayerful and continue to support the good political ideologies of Yari as the leaders of the party with a view to getting Matawalle government out of the political mainstream in the 2023 election.
