The immediate past Senator of Zamfara Central Kabiru Garba Marafa has announced that he has dragged Yari faction of the APC to the Supreme Court over the Sokoto Court of Appeal judgement.
The Senator announced this during a meeting with the supporters of his faction of the APC in Kaduna.
He said, his statement during an interview when he visited Zamfara was misinterpreted hence what he said was the factual position of the thing based on the Sokoto Court of Appeal judgement.
He noted that, his decision to challenge the position of the party at the State High Court was simply a resolve to challenge the injustice that was perpetrated by the Yari faction of the APC in 2019.
He further said he was fulfilled by challenging the injustice hence the national leadership of the party had supported the former Governor because their manifestations was to kill the APC in Zamfara state.
On the rumor that he was suspended from the party via a resolution of the state chapter, he challenged the National headquarters of the party to go ahead and affirmed his suspension if they can act noting that, he is not bothered with whatever action they will take hence he owns the majority support of the people of the state.
