Zamfara State Commissioner for Finance Alh Rabiu Garba has alleged that the APC candidate for Bakura bye election Alh Dankande Gamji has procured and distributed (6) trucks load of wrappers to voters in before and during the election.
He made the allegation during a press conference held in Gusau on Monday.
He noted that it is shameful for the oposition APC to raise allegations of vote buying hence they have distributed wrappers and money to voters and the security agents were watching but could not aid matters because they were sponsored by the APC.
Rabiu Garba noted further that, all APC power brokers from Gusau were stationed in the ward he supervised the election and that they came with hundreds of armed thugs and intimidated the voters noting that conventional security were deliberately helpless.
He said despite deployment of heavy armed thugs PDP won the election with a merging of over 1000 votes hence their planned to rig the election has failed woefully.
He called on Bakura voters to remain supportive of the PDP and come back massively to conclude the scheduled the re-run election on Wednesday the 9th of December 2020.
