ZMSG EXPENDS 2.9 BILLION NAIRA ON RAMADAN WELFARE PACKAGE

Zamfara State Government has expended a total sum of 2.9 billion naira in the procurement of assorted food items and clothing materials for distribution to the needy and lessprivileged persons as Ramadan welfare package.


This is contained in a statement issued by the Chairman of the Ramadan welfare distribution  committee Speaker Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya which was signed by the State Commissioner for Information Ibrahim Magaji Dosara.


The statement said the breakdown of the quantity of the assorted food items are as follows: 
1. Rice………… 60, 000 bags

2. Millet………50,000 bags
3. Maize…………50, 000 bags
4. Beans………..30,000 bags
5. Sugar………….10,000 bags

As for the formula of distribution to local government council’s the commissioner said each local government is to receive as follows:,
