Some abandoned commercial vehicles have been sighted along Sheme-Kankara road at the early hours of today.
A traveler Mukhtar Lawal who was travelling to Kano from Gusau this morning confirmed to this medium that they have sighted a Sharon Wagon, Gulf, and Canter Mitsubishi abandoned along Kakumi town after Ruwan Godiya and they were told by the residents of the area that some bandits stopped the vehicles at night and abducted all the passengers they were conveying.
He said the residents confirmed to them that the bandits blocked the popular Sheme-Kankara road at night when it was raining and perfect the abduction.
He told this medium that as at the time they reached the scene of the incident they have met a military vehicle which was alleged to be burnt by the bandits.
