The Alumni of Usmanu Danfodio University Sokoto Zamfara State chapter have commences activities to mark the 2024 Grand Re-union.
According to itinerary, the activities marking the re-union starts with fitness trekking where participants meet at Jubiril Bala Yakubu Secretariat Gusau by 7:30 am on Friday the 3rd of January 2025.
During the fitness trekking, participants dressed using regalia that carries the association’s polo shirt and P-cap were used.
Zamfara State Commissioner for Education Malam Wadatau Madawaki was among the dignitaries that attended the event.
On the day two of the re-union which is Saturday the 4th day of January 2025 by 10:00am at the JB Yakubu Secretariat conference hall lectures would be delivered as well as awards are to be presented to dignitaries already identified.
The Topics to be delivered include “Impact of Insecurity on Healthcare Services delivery in Zamfara State: What is the way forward” which is to be delivered by Dr. Aminu Abdullahi.
Another topic titled “Green Energy and Climate Change: A Pathway for Sustainable Development in Zamfara State, Nigeria” is to be delivered by Saifullahi Muhammad Bilbis.
