A Chieftain of All Progressive Congress APC in Zamfara Alh Bashir Namada Ataka has called on the members of the State House of Assembly to stay away from the fresh move of creating a new Emirate of Yandoton as planned by Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa.
The politician who made the call when he visited the head office of Thunder Blowers Online News Medium noted that such move is a clear attempt to dragging traditional institutions in to unwarranted political crises.
He noted that, it was unfortunate for the former Senator to raise this fresh movement at a time when Zamfara is yearning for serious developmental projects beyond creation of additional emirate council saying his move is capable of causing serious crises in Tsafe Emirate.
He further explained that, as former Senator who represented Zamfara Central where Tsafe is located he is not supposed to raise such claim at this material time hence it can be injurious to his political prospects.
He urged the Governor and members of the State House of Assembly to ignore the move by Senator Marafa and concentrate on issues that are of positive concern to the people.
On the claim by the former Senator that he is the most popular politician in Zamfara APC Ataka said, it is laughable for the former Senator to make that statement since he has failed to probe that popularity during the 2019 APC crises noting that Senator Marafa is a politician who believes on propaganda.
“Everything about Senator Marafa is a propaganda but to be candid with you, he does not have followers but one thing he Excell about is propaganda and everything about him is a propaganda” Ataka added.
