Zamfara State Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle has declared that, since his inauguration as Governor of Zamfara State he has never for once applied for the payment of DTA from the state government treasury.
The Governor who made the declaration while receiving a powerful delegation comprising of Islamic Scholars and Quranic Memorizers challenged anyone with counter evidence that he was ever paid DTA as Governor of Zamfara State to declare it to the public.
“long before I was elected as Governor of Zamfara State I have all that I needed to leaves a peaceful living and I thanked God almighty for that blessing” Matawalle added.
He said it is evidently clear that everyone in Zamfara had prayed hard for God almighty to allow a competent person to emerge as Governor of Zamfara state during the 2019 election noting further he has a strong believe that, his emergence as Governor of Zamfara State is a true reflection of public prayers because God almighty is always right in his decision.
“I will not be scared away by the bragging of 2023 election because in the whole of Nigeria there is no Governor that emerged through a scenerio like mine and as such I will remain focus in changing the lives of Zamfara people” .
At the end of the interaction special prayer session for the return of sustainable peace in Zamfara State was conducted.
