Suspected bandits Invaded Gamji town in Bakura local government area of Zamfara State and abducted its ward party chairman for the All Progressive Congress APC Alh Sani Dangwaggo.
Gamji is a political ward in Bakura where the APC candidate for Bakura State Assembly bye election Bello Dankande Gamji a former Commissioner in the immediate past government of Abdulazeez Yari hailed from.
Another source confirmed that, the abducted party chairman is a biological brother to the former Commissioner and he was abducted at the commissioner’s residence in Gamji.
When contacted Zamfara State Police Command Public Relations Officer SP Shehu Muhammad confirmed the incident explained that the abductee was a representative (Wakili) of the district head of Gamji as Confirmed by the DPO.
Shehu Muhammad said rescue of the victim has since commenced and assured his relations that the victim will be rescued safely.
It could be recalled that, few weeks back some bandits invaded the house of Bello Dankande Gamji in Bakura and abducted his son and two other aids before they were released.
