Federal High Court Sitting in Gusau has on Friday the September 16th 2022 nullified the PDP Primary Election that Produced Dr. Dauda Lawal Dare as the Zamfara State Gubernatorial Candidate of the Party in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
The Presiding Judge Aminu Bappa orders for the conduct of fresh primary election in line with the statutory guidelines and procedures.
Justice Bappa also stated that all the prayers requested by the plaintiffs have been granted.
The three PDP aspirants that participated in the PDP gubernatorial primaries namely Ibrahim Shehu Gusau, MAL. Wadatau Madawaki and Hafiz Muhammad Nahuche dragged Dr. Dauda Lawal and PDP to the Federal High Court Gusau over what they termed as irregularities in the conduct of the PDP gubernatorial primary election and asked for the court to nullified same and order for the conduct of fresh primary election.
