Zamfara State Directorate for Humanitarian Affairs has continue with the distribution of food items to the poor and lessprivilege persons in Bukkuyum local government council as part of the administration’s commitment to providing relief for the people to be able to absorb the shock of the Covid-19 pandemic.
With the distribution of the food items in Bukkuyum, the Directorate has so far covered eight local government areas of the state which include Gummi, Bungudu, Bakura, Tsafe, Kaura Namoda, Zurmi, Birnin Magaji and Gusau.
The food items distributed by the Directorate include Maize, Guinea corn, Sugar, Indomie and Sphagetti.
The Governor’s Special Adviser on the Directorate for Humanitarian Affairs Faika M. Ahmad said the distribution exercise is conducted in line with the vision of the Governor Matawalle of making life more comfortable to the poor and less privilege persons in the state. 1
She called on the people of the state especially the beneficiaries to continue to pray for the success of the Matawalle as he mean well for their wellbeing.
