FMR. COUNCIL CHAIRMAN TO SHINKAFI EMIR: YOU HAVE INSULTED THE NORTH

The former Council Chairman of Tsafe Alh Aliyu Abubakar Tsafe has described the recent visit and subsequent conferment of the title of “Sadaukin Shinkafi” to the former Minister of Aviation Fani Kayode as an insult to the status and integrity of Zamfara being the leading Shariah State in the country.

The former Council Chairman who shared his perspective via a statement issued to journalists in Zamfara a copy obtained by Thunder Blowers expressed shock with the manner at which someone he termed as “enemy of the North and indeed Hausa/Fulani” was well received and celebrated by the Zamfara State Government inspite of the insult and abuses he has rendered to its sons and daughters.

He noted that, the visit of the former Minister of Aviation to Zamfara has clearly demonstrated that, there is an agenda which is hidden by the present government to tarnish the image of the state, adding that, even from the press conference held by the former Minister one will clearly understand that there is sinister motive behind his action.

He further argued that, Fani Kayode take advantage of the rift between Zamfara former Governor and Governor Matawalle to instigate the FAAN to issue the politically motivated statement against former Governor Yari so that he will take advantage of that to render abusive insults on the personality of Yari, noting that, it was not enough till after he perfected the recent visit to Zamfara State.

He expressed his concern on the step taken by the Emir of Shinkafi Alh Muhammad Makwashe Isah to award the title of “Sadaukin Shinkafi” to someone who is the number one enemy of his people saying the monarch has betrayed his spiritual mandate as the defender of the royal integrity of the Hausa/Fulani who are most hated by Fani Kayode.

Aliyu Tsafe explained further that, it was in consideration of the weak mindedness of the Shinkafi Emir that the immediate past administration of Yari curved out alternative Emirate of Bazai from Shinkafi as if the former Governor knows that this kind of embarrassment will hit the emirate in no distance time.

He noted that though politics did not allow that emirate to survive, but at least Zamfara people have seen the wisdom on the decision taken by the former government of Yari.

The Former Council Chairman urged the Emir to apologize to the people of Shinkafi and indeed the entire people of Zamfara and Northern Nigeria for the embarrassment caused to them saying, confirming the title of “Sadaukin Shinkafi” to Fani Kayode is the worst decision taken by a Northern Nigerian monarch that has caused everlasting embarrassment to the people of the region.

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
