A former Senator who represented Gombe at the Senate and former National Secretary of the Defunct ANPP Senator Said Umar Kumo is dead.
He died on Sunday after a brief illness at the Gwagwalada Hospital Abuja.
The deceased funeral prayer according to the family source will take place at the National Mosque, Abuja by 2;00pm on Sunday.
While at the Senate from 1999 to 2003 late Senator Daisy Umar Kumo was appointed in to the Senate committees on Aviation, Communication, Power and Steel, Finance and Appropriation, Tourism, Culture and Social Development. He later become the Deputy Chairman of Senate Services Committee.
The late Senator was also appointed as Special Adviser to late President Umar Musa Yar’adua when they perfected their government of National Unity where he represented his party the ANPP.
