Governor Bello Mohammed MON Matawallen Maradun, has received the sad news of the death of mother of Shehu Umar Yari of the Media Trust and member of the Correspondents Chapel of the state Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Hajiya Zainab Umar Yari.
In a statement by Governor’s Director General Press Affairs Malam Yusuf Idris the governor wishes to sympathise with her immediate family members particularly, Shehu Umar who has been up and doing in the discharge of his journalistic responsibilities in the state.
Matawalle who was devastated by the sad development said the loss of a mother is very painful but one has to take heart and thank Almighty for the life well spent in accordance with the Islamic teachings.
He described late Hajiya Zainab Umar Yari as God fearing and a disciplinarian who devoted most of her life in worshiping Allah.
The Shatiman Sokoto prays Allah to grant the deceased Jannatul Firdaus and the family, the fortitude to bear the loss.
