MAJORITY OF THOSE THAT APPEARS BEFORE OUR COMMITTEE DENIES KNOWLEDGE OF PETITION FILES BY SEN. MARAFA LED FACTION OF THE APC

The disciplinary committee set up by Zamfara  State Chapter of All Progressive Congress has been holding its proceedings since last week Tuesday and (43) people have so far appeared before the committee to give testimony on their alleged involvement in the petition filed by Senator Kabiru Marafa led faction of the APC.



Speaking exclusively to Thunder Blowers Online New Media the Chairman of the committee Abdullahi Jao Zurmi said, the committee has so far interacted with (43 out of the (140 allaged  petitioners and that by tomorrow another set of 47 members would again appear before the committe by and give testimony.


On the major issues that dominated the proceedings, Abdullahi Jao noted that, majority of those that appeared before the committe had alleged that they were neither consulted not informed of the plan petition against the APC noting that they have distanced themselves from the petition filed by Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa led faction of the APC.


The Chairman further explained that, they have all declared their solidarity to the APC and vows to continue to work closely with the APC both at the State and National level for a positive result.


On the authenticity of the viral videos of those who testified before the committee, Abdullahi Jao confirmed that the video are genuine and they were part of the offshoot of the proceedings.

Mr. Jo said he is hopeful that, the committee will conclude it’s proceedings by Friday and prepare it’s report for submission to the State Secretariat of the party.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
