Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa described as misguiding the comment by the State Secretary of the PDP Alh Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima where he said “PDP has weakened his political popularity of even in his hometown of Tsafe”.
Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa who stated this through the Spokes Person of his political movement Bello Bakyasuwa Maradun said, if the effort made by Senator Kabiru Marafa of securing the government for PDP is not appreciated it will be politically unfair to reward senator Marafa and his people with insulting remarks.
He said it was unfortunate that the comment is coming from someone who was not a party to the journey from the initial stage and only come to be making blind comments that further established his ignorance of the political development even within his party, Bakyasuwa referring to PDP State Secretary.
“Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima wasn’t in PDP when Matawalle contested and also wasn’t in PDP when we were busy filing litigation against the former Governor. He only returned when the booty was being shared and this is why he does not know much that is in between the Governor and Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa”.
“If he is speaking the mind of the PDP then PDP is not grateful by rewarding Senator Marafa and his supporters with insult. We are not bothered at all because it is politics you leave to see wonderful events as they unfold” Bakyasuwa added.
“Dragging Zamfara Commissioner for Justice in to this drama has only compounded the ignorance of the PDP State Secretary concerning political development within his party”.
On the resignation of Surajo Maikatako from the PDP government Bakyasuwa said it was a clear demonstration of his sincerity of purpose as he Surajo has honored Senator Marafa for standing by his decision.
On those political supporters of Senator Marafa still holding positions in the PDP government, Bakyasuwa said it is left for anyone to decide since politics is about decision-making.
On the ongoing reconciliation within the APC Bakyasuwa said, the negotiation is inconclusive and that because the political actors have met It does not mean that the gray areas have been resolved.
