Some suspected gunmen on Tuesday abducted the district head of Matseri in Anka Emirate of Zamfara State along side one Malam Ali.
The incident occurred barely forty eight hours after another group laid ambush and open fire on the convoy of the state government delegation returning from Katsina where they handed over 26 women freed from captivity.
The delegation ambushed was led by the state Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs Abubakar Muhammad Dauran and a state government driver was loss to the incident.
