The State Chairman of All Progressive Congress Lawal M. Liman Kaura has declared that, the state chapter of the party has sacked the former senator who represented Zamfara Central Kabiru Garba Marafa since 2019
Lawal M. Liman who was reacting to the recent interview by the former senator accusing the national caretaker of the party said, Senator Marafa had no basis to to speak on issues related to the APC because he remained expended from the party.
Liman said, “since 2019 the State APC had sacked Senator Marafa outing that the decision to expel Senator Marafa from the APC was perfected in accordance with the constitution of the party.
But the State Chairman of the party accused Adams Oshiomole led APC national working committee of refusal to act on the decision of the State APC because they have conive with Senator Marafa led faction of the APC then to cause what they have done for Zamfara APC in 2019.
“We are calling on the National caretaker committee of the party to ratify the decision of the state APC in the overall interest of the party members in the state” Liman added.
Lawal M. Liman further declared “we don’t consider Marafa as our party member because he is used by oppostion People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to distract the peace and stability in the party.
Lawal M. Liman further said, even by disobeying the party’s National Executive Council NEC, the national leadership of the party should see reasons enough to be convinced that Senator Marafa is not wishing well for the party”, Liman said.
He described the recent comments by Senator Marafa accusing the national leadership of the party as uncalled for
“We are calling on the National caretaker committee to take appropriate action against Senator Kabiru Marafa hence he should be treated as agent of the opposition” Liman added.
He said that the Zamfara State chapter of the APC is behind the National Leadership of the party, “we commend the Maimala Buni’s committee for repositioning the party and disregard any move to discredit the reputation of the members of the committee”.
