Peoples Democratic Party in Zamfara has declared that, it is not bothered if Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has to reconcile with former Governor Yari since his political relevance has been weakened even in his home town of Tsafe.

State Secretary of the PDP Alh Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima Birnin Magaji declared this in a telephone interview with the Thunder Blowers Online news medium in Gusau on Monday.

He noted that Senator Marafa has lost relevance politically in Zamfara State since the majority of his political supporters are now fully with the PDP.

“I am from Birnin Magaji local government and I can tell you, all those who were die heart supporters of Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa have joined the PDP fully, and it is the same story with his supporters in all the remaining local government areas of the state”

“Go to Tsafe and verify, all the die heart supporters of Senator Kabiru Marafa have left him and fully joined the PDP and this give us the confidence that his exit back to join Yari camp in APC means nothing to us.

On the faith of the political allies of Senator Marafa that are now holding positions in the PDP government the secretary noted that, it is left for them to decide since Marafa has finally dis-jointed with the PDP and if they want to remain with us there is no cause for alarm.

“To the best of my knowledge people like Commissioner for Justice and his counterpart from the Ministry for Rural Development and Cooperative and many others who are brought in to this journey by Senator Kabiru Marafa are fully supportive of the activities of the PDP government in Zamfara State and if they want quiet fine they can move out and surrendered their appointments”

On the chances of the APC reclaiming the state Dangaladima said “you have seen what happened in Bakura bye election and with all their proud PDP has won the election and that is enough to tell you that PDP is fully on ground in Zamfara State.
