Zamfara State Commissioner for Education Ibrahim Abdullahi Spirow has dissolved the state chapter of All Nigeria Conference of Principals of Secondary Schools ANCOPSS as well as order for constitution of the caretaker committee who is to conduct election within a period of two months.

The state Commissioner who declared this at a meeting with all the Principals of Junior and Senior Secondary Schools in Gusau on Monday noted that, the decision becomes imperative considering the in active role the association has been playing over a period of nine years.

He challenged that, the executives of the association have both overstayed in power and are also not contributing meaningfully to the overall educational reforms of the current administration.

He said he has been observing since his inauguration as state Commissioner for Education that, the association has not been able to offer to the state Ministry for Education the much needed advise on matters related to educational development of the state and as such he said there is the need to elect new set of leaders with fresh ideas that can contribute to the ongoing educational reforms in the state.

The Commissioner also announced the immediate suspension of the Principal and Vice  Principal of GGSS Anka as well as the Principal and Vice Principal of GGDSS Bukkuyun due to their absence during examination hours.

He regretted that, the two Principals and their deputies affected by the decision were not met at the school when the committee monitoring the conduct of the ongoing WAEC/NECO examination visited their schools describing their action as an act of sabotage.

Spirow further explained that, the ministry is fully vigilant through the committee he set up to ensure strict compliance to Covid-19 protocols during the conduct of the examination.

Governor Bello Matawalle in company of the North West Vice Chairman for the APC Alh Salihu Lukman spent hours receiving the PDP and Atiku support groups who came on with their different narratives of how they have suffered in the hand of the PDP.

The National Secretary of the PDP Transformation Ambassadors Mal. Bashir Muhammad said despite the investment they have made in the PDP for years, they are pleased to have a political U-turn and join forces with Governor Bello Matawalle ok m the APC so that they will support him to deliver the Asiwaju presidential project.

He lamented that despite having strong political structures with a network of other political support groups across the divides of Nigeria, the PDP did not see reason to honor them with even recognition for the commitment they have demonstrated over the years.

Atiku Kawai another political support groups, lamented that PDP and Atiku had never for once, recognize their effort despite using their resources to build up structures across the (36) states of the Federation and Abuja where their headquarters is located noting that, to even see Atiku Abubakar after Investing on his Presidential candidature since after the primary election become something difficult.

Usman Muhammad Rabiu Bichi who is the National Coordinator of the movement said he went to the extent of reaching out to one of the biological children of Atiku for him to be able to see how he can take the leadership of the group to the Presidential candidate of the PDP, but it was story full of folktales.
