Zamfara State Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs Abubakar Muhammad Dauran has declared that, the official figure of those killed at the Monday and Tuesday Attacks at Maru and Talatar Mafara local government stands at 21 people hence they are still gathering more facts on what actually transpired.
He said since morning, they are already at the scene of the incident together with the State Commissioner of police and Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp to ascertain the real situation of things and promised that he will address the people in due time.
He said military and armed mobile police officers have been redeployed and are conducting merciless operation to fish out these bandits.
