The Spokesperson of the Zamfara APC Malam Yusuf Idris has reacted to the recent resignation of Zamfara Commissioner for Religious Affairs Malam Tukur Sani Jangebe.
Idris, who stated that there is no cause for alarm insisted that the resignation of the Commissioner may be connected to his intention to contest in the forth-coming 2023 election.
“If you observed, Commissioners from Sokoto, Kano, Kaduna and Katsina have been tendering their resignation letters because they have interest to contest, and I think that of Jangebe is not an exception”.
Idris said, since the Commissioner did not say anything in the contrary, we will assume he has followed the path of his colleagues by resigning to contest for any post of his choice.
“Unless he has made any pronouncement, we shall assume his resignation is connected to his ambition to join the 2023 race”
