ZAMFARA GOVERNOR’S AID DENIES APPOINTMENT OF SANI SHINKAFI OF APGA AS SPECIAL ADVISER

Special Adviser to Zamfara State Governor on Public Enlightenment Media and Communication Malam Zailani Bappa has described as mischievous the pronouncement by the former State Commissioner for Environment Mukhtar Muhd Lugga that Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle has appointed the former APGA gubernatorial candidate Alh Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi as Honorary Special Adviser on Petition Matters.


Mr Bappa who raised the alarm through a letter written to the Editor of Thunder Blowers Online News Medium one of the platforms that published the rejoinder written by the former Commissioner Lugga, noted that Mr Shinkafi was appointed by Governor Matawalle as “Honorary Adviser on Inter-governmental Affairs” not “petition matters ” as alleged by Mukhtar Lugga.

“It is improper for me to delve or join in the issues at stake, but I am constrained to write you in observation of a wrong presentation of fact by Alhaji Lugga where he presented the appointment by His Excellency, Governor Bello Mohammed (Matawallen Maradun) of Dr Shinkafi as Honourary Special Adviser on Petition Matters” Mr Bappa added.


It is pertinent to inform the public that His “Excellency appointed Dr Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi as Honourary Special Adviser on Inter-Governmental Affairs and not as a petition writer. It is mischievous for anyone to assume His Excellency Governor Bello Mohammed (Matawallen Maradun) will have a special interest in writing of petitions against any of his citizens as he has a proper channel of authority to bring wrong doers to book according to the provisions of the law”.

He However noted that, all employees of His Excellency are free citizens with constitutional rights to petion against any abuse of public trust of which Dr Shinkafi is not an exception.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
