Zamfara State Police Commissioner Ayuba Elkana has vowed to deal with person(s) who installed private cyber network against the new measures instituted by the state government aimed at improving security situation in the state.
The CP who spoke during a press conference in Gusau said, the command has already taken steps aimed at identifying the suspicious locations where people have violated the state government order.
He added that, Information available at the disposal of the police and other security agencies shows that some people who are not ready to comply with the new security measures adopted by the state government have embarked on the installation of cyber network for commercial purposes.
Elkana alleged that criminal elements take advantage of the availability of the cyber network to be communicating messages that are considered a threat to the security and safety of the state.
He warned that those that installed the cyber network or about to do it shall either desist from it or face the wrath of the law.
He added that he has already instructed his DPO’s and other tactical commanders to intensify the search for any suspicious locations with a view to apprehending the violators.
