Suspected kidnappers have again invaded the private resident of one household Ibrahim Abubakar Dareta a district in Anka local government area of Zamfara state at around 1:00am of Tuesday and abducted his 3 wives, their babies and one other occupants of the house.
This came barely same hour when another set of kidnappers invaded the private resident of Zamfara State former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Bello Dankande Gamji in Bakura and abducted his two children and two others including an operative of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp.
While at Dareta information reaching this medium has it that the suspected kidnappers on arrival at the village started shooting sporadically even while majority of the people of the village have retired to bed.
The gunshots allegedly scared many people who went to hiding before they proceeded to abduct the victims.
While in Bakura Information has it that the abductors shot dead one person who attempted to offer a help to the victims while one woman was critically injured.
Zamfara state Police Command Public Relations Officer SP Shehu Muhammad confirmed the incident and said the command has move to action and effort has been intensified to rescuing the victims and that team of armed police men has been redeployed to take charge of the security of the area.
