Members of Zamfara State House of Assembly have passed in the law two bills namely the bill for a law to provide for the state debt management office (establishment) law 2021 and a bill for a law to provide for the establishment and management of the state public procurement law and for related matters 2021.
Two other bills one, on state scholarship board repeal law of 1998 and the second one a bill for a law to provide for the establishment, function, administration, power and finances of the state local government councils (repeal and re-enactment) and for other related matters therewith 2021.
According to the statement by the house spokesperson Mustafa Jafaru Kaura said, at the closing of the Wednesday’s plenary, the Speaker of the State House of Nasiru Muazu Magarya specifically commended the effort of the house committee on finance and appropriation led by Muhammad Ahmad Jangeru for their excellent performance describing it as the best committee of the house.
