Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle has announced the creation of three more ministries rising the number of the state ministries to twenty-two.
The Governor has also relieved the appointments of all Special Advisers and Directors General with immediate effect.
This according to the Secretary to the State government is to allow for proper reorganization of the government functional structures.
The new ministries created are: Ministry of Arts Culture and Tourism, Higher Education as well as Ministry of Social Welfare and Community Development.
The Governor also restructured some existing ministries which are to be named as Ministry of Information, Commerce and Industries, women and children affairs and science and technical education,
Accordingly, all Special Advisers and Directors General should hand over the affairs of their respective agencies to their immediate accounting officers.
