Governor Bello Matawalle has extended his congratulatory message to the Acting Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Comrade Bello Ibrahim Boko.
In a statement by Governor’s Director General Press Affairs Malam Yusuf Idris Gusau said the Governor was particularly happy that the union under its constitution does not leave a vacuum by endorsing the Vice-chairman to act.
He thanked all members of the union in the state for supporting his administration and urged them to renew commitment in making sure that the administration’s effort of fighting armed banditry has succeeded in restoring peace in the state.
The Governor promised to partner with the state council of the union and its national body under Chief Chris Isiguzo in order to advance the cause of the union at all levels.
