NATIONAL COMMISSIONER, WIFE OF ZAMFARA FMR. GOVERNOR TRANSMIT RESIGNATION LETTER TO ZAMFARA EMIR

The Commissioner of National Assembly Service Commission in charge of North West geo-political zone Bilyaminu Yusuf Shinkafi has alongside the wife of Zamfara former Governor Hadiza Abdulazeez Abubakar Yari and Alh Umar Ajiya Bala tendered their resignation letter as title holders to Shinkafi Emirate Council.


This resignation is the latest to be sent to Shinkafi Emirate Council since it conferred the title of “Sadaukin Shinkafi” to the former Minister of Aviation Fani Kayode early this week.

Last two days two title holders had also resigned their titles to show their displeasure with the step taken by the Emirate Council over the appointment of Fani Kayode.


In a letter of resignation addressed to the Emir of Shinkafi dated 22nd of July 2020, Bilyaminu Yusuf Shinkafi and two others claimed that they are not convince with the step taken to confer the title of Sadaukin Shinkafi to the former Aviation Minister hence procedurely titles are awarded in recognition of someone’s contribution to the socio-economic and political development of the community.

They appreciated the opportunity given to them to serve in their respective capacities and wish the emirate council well.


For the past three days, the conferment of the title of “Sadaukin Shinkafi” to the former Aviation Minister Fani Kayode has continue to generate mixed reaction from concern citizens across the Northern region.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
