Zamfara State Police Commissioner Abutu Yaro has reiterated his determination to carrying all stakeholders along in his bid to rid the state of it’s prevailing security challenges.
The CP gave the assurance when he paid a familiarization visit to the Emirs of Dansadau and Moriki in Maru and Zurmi local government areas of the state
The Police Commissioner while commending the two emirates for supporting the ongoing peace process of Governor Muhammad Bello Matawlle, urged them to redouble their commitment by enlightening various communities under them to desist from taking law into their hands and to embrace the peace process, so that Zamfara State can reclaim its name and status as the most peaceful state in the country.
The Commissioner of Police later addressed Officers and men of the two out post stations including the newly recruited and trained special Constabulary.
He urged them to remain disciplined, committed, apolitical and always conduct themselves in consonance with the Professional ethics.
The CP also held an interactive session with Fulani and Hausa community leaders, as well as members of PCRC, where he appealed for their support and cooperation in advancing the ongoing peace process in the State.
In their response, the Emirs of Dansadau and Moriki Alhaji Hussain Umar and Alhaji Sama’ila Muhammad Ari ll thanked the Commissioner of Police for the visit and promised to do everything at their disposal to ensure the success of the peace process.
